Discharging circuit for flash lamp lasers DSC-010
Features: - - Servicing of one or one of two heads - Switching on of one or two capacitors - Control of two shutters - Control and switching on of two heads - Temperature measurement of two heads
The discharger system is designed to supply one or one of two flashlamps in solid-state lasers. In the casing contained are all necessary elements together with main capacitors and series inductance, which makes it easy to use. By means of suitable connector, it is possible to connect the following elements to DSC - 010 system: simmer (SMP - 010 or other ), charger (CHG - 3000 or other ) which is sufficient to start operation of the laser. The full compatible mechanical - optical system type ROS - 050 - DBL can be attached to DSC - 010.

DSC-030 IGBT
Features: - complex power supplying of long pulse flashlamp - stabilization of lamp current - rectangular shape of discharging - small battery of capacitors - control of shutter - supplying of aiming beam pilots - head temperature measurement
The most recent type of the system that enables to control pulse discharge with pulses of the rectangular form. The system is a step-down converter made in the IGBT technology. The most important advantage of the system is the lack of necessity to store high energy in capacitors. The system requires ca. 20% energy margin above the maximum energy released, while a similar older system needs, depending on the permissible current change, about ten times higher energy released. The lamp current is controlled in the on - line mode and is feedback - controlled. The system enables to control, from the outside, the pulse duration and instantaneous power of the lamp, in a linear mode, using analog signals. In order to increase the reliability, additional protection systems were applied against over - loading and external interference.
Technical parameters: discharging current 100-400 [A] input voltage 200-900 [V] time of pulse 500- 40.000 [us] supply voltage 24 [V]
